I just feel like someone out there needs to hear this: you’re beautiful just the way you are, yes all of you! Measuring your beauty against other peoples ideals is self-deprecating, YOU are perfectly imperfect.
Another item to add to your list, and yes, it’s another list. However, this bullet point is a must! While browsing the pages of Glamour, I happened to come across the most amazing list/book titled “30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know by the Time Shes’s 30”. What an inspiring idea. I’m not completely through with the book, but some of my favorites include:
The belief that you deserve it.
A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra.
What you would or wouldn’t do for money or love -Lauren Conrad
How to fall in love without losing yourself.
That no body gets away with smoking, drinking, doing drugs, or not flossing for very long.
Where to go- be it your best friends kitchen table or a yoga mat- when your soul needs soothing.
And when they asked Katie Couric I just has to pull these two:
“The ability to adapt gracefully is one of life’s greatest skills”-Katie Couric
“If you’re not exactly where you wanted to be exactly when you wanted to be there, don’t sweat it.”-Katie Couric
This list is awesome, I love how many woman it reached from all different walks of life. To name a few others: Lisa Ling, Portia de Rossi, Kathy Griffith, and Rachel Zoe.
What would be on your list? Or what would you contribute to this list?

Happy Wednesday xoxo
16,21,27,32,38,46,56…just numbers right? I’d like to say yes, but we live in a society that prescribes youth as the cure all to a healthy and happy life. It saddens me to think that we don’t give age the respect that it deserves. No matter how hard I try I don’t understand the perception that youthfulness is the only beautiful. With age women become stunning, because they know themselves better. They no longer put up with bullshit and they know their worth. Above all they know themselves-what works and what doesn’t, they know how to dress, and they embrace their bodies. There’s a type of confidence they exude that’s unparalleled. So maybe it’s time to celebrate the trials and tribulations- because they are what makes you so beautifully YOU!
Celebrate your age!

Hey Love Bugs,
I just wanted to share with you this face mask that I’ve been using regularly for over a year now! It’s actually Martha Washington’s face mask recipe, but it totally rocks! Hopefully you have the majority of ingredients in your fridge or pantry. So here ya go:
-1 Teaspoon honey
-1/4 Teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Get two separate bowls, in one put the egg yolk, honey, and apple cider vinegar. In the other put the egg white.
Beat the egg white with a whisk until frothy.
Next, take the bowl with the honey, yolk, and apple cider vinegar and fold/pour into the frothy egg white bowl and mix
Spread mixture over neck and face. Leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and refrigerate the leftovers- as they can be used up to a week later ( trash after a week). And voila, you’ve got a perfect face mask! I promise your skin will feel so soft!!
While browsing The Huffington Post Stylelist section I came across ,21 year old ,Valeria Lukyanova who is A Real-Life Barbie doll and a Ukrainian model- who has made herself look like a Barbie doll by using plastic surgery. On Valeria’s Tumblr, Valeria has several photographs of her posing as Barbie. I think this is very creepy, but to each their own. What are your thoughts?
Giuliana ( E! Host and Fashion Police) has got to be one of the most stylish woman to date. Not only is she stylish, but she’s been a huge inspiration to me, and I’m sure many other women. As you may or may not know, Giuliana and her husband Bill have been trying to have a baby for some time now. After seeking fertility treatment in Denver, the doctor told the couple that he wouldn’t go through with anything until he knew she was healthy and had a mammogram- shortly after her mammogram she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and choose to undergo a Double Mastectomy. Just two-and-a half weeks later Giuliana returned to work! Crazy!
What I find most inspiring is that Giuliana took her own personal pain and turned it into a positive message. She went public with her Breast Cancer and helped women know they are not alone . She used her platform as a way to spread awareness-and she had an overwhelming amount of support, love, and prayer(s) from all over the world. She now wants to start a Make-a-Wish like foundation for women with breast cancer called : Fab-u-Wish (awesome). It’s people like her that always put my life in perspective and renew my faith. Happy Thursday!
“Maybe in some way I’m a little bit of a messenger. Maybe God knew that I have a big mouth, that I’m a loud Italian chick, that I wouldn’t hide anything. It now starts to make sense to me why I think I got the cool job, because I think HE knew I would do some cool stuff with it.”-Giuliana
