Who would’ve thought these childhood stars would grow up to be so stylish?!?

I’m so happy that Pink is gracing the cover of Cosmo this month. I love Pink, and I think her lyrics send a positive message to women. Not to mention that I’m completely envious of the fact that she can pull off short hair and tattoos unlike any other woman and she still look stunning.

Another item to add to your list, and yes, it’s another list. However, this bullet point is a must! While browsing the pages of Glamour, I happened to come across the most amazing list/book titled “30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know by the Time Shes’s 30″. What an inspiring idea. I’m not completely through with the book, but some of my favorites include:
The belief that you deserve it.
A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra.
What you would or wouldn’t do for money or love -Lauren Conrad
How to fall in love without losing yourself.
That no body gets away with smoking, drinking, doing drugs, or not flossing for very long.
Where to go- be it your best friends kitchen table or a yoga mat- when your soul needs soothing.
And when they asked Katie Couric I just has to pull these two:
“The ability to adapt gracefully is one of life’s greatest skills”-Katie Couric
“If you’re not exactly where you wanted to be exactly when you wanted to be there, don’t sweat it.”-Katie Couric
This list is awesome, I love how many woman it reached from all different walks of life. To name a few others: Lisa Ling, Portia de Rossi, Kathy Griffith, and Rachel Zoe.
What would be on your list? Or what would you contribute to this list?

16,21,27,32,38,46,56…just numbers right? I’d like to say yes, but we live in a society that prescribes youth as the cure all to a healthy and happy life. It saddens me to think that we don’t give age the respect that it deserves. No matter how hard I try I don’t understand the perception that youthfulness is the only beautiful. With age women become stunning, because they know themselves better. They no longer put up with bullshit and they know their worth. Above all they know themselves-what works and what doesn’t, they know how to dress, and they embrace their bodies. There’s a type of confidence they exude that’s unparalleled. So maybe it’s time to celebrate the trials and tribulations- because they are what makes you so beautifully YOU!
Celebrate your age!
xoxo

I love this Hermes advertisement ! I think it’s so pretty, and it kind of reminds me of The Princess and the Pea- the colors are so vibrant. Also, I’ve included a link to a You Tube channel that explains 25 different ways to wear a scarf in 4.5 minutes ( check out Wendy’s blog:Wendy’s Look-book too) she’s one of my favorite fashion bloggers.
